Football Recap: Manny Myers and Grady Myers Secure Win for Mulvane + How To Watch

Mulvane waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 26-23 win over the Augusta Orioles. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Orioles, too.

A big part of Mulvane's victory came down to the chemistry between Manny Myers and his top target Grady Myers. Manny rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns while Grady rushed for 215 yards and one TD while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. Manny's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards.

Mulvane was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 355 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 186 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Mulvane's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Augusta, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mulvane will take on El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mulvane will be up against El Dorado's rather soft defense (which has allowed 67.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Augusta, they will face off against Wellington on Friday.
