It's playoff time, and Lake Oconee Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Mt. Zion Eagles on Tuesday. Lake Oconee Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Mt. Zion from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Palmer Larkin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory (which was Lake Oconee Academy's eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those eight games. As for Mt. Zion, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

Coming up, Lake Oconee Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Dooly County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Zion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
