Recap: Hayfork Timberjacks vs. Dunsmuir Tigers

The Hayfork Timberjacks had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They took their matchup at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 42-12 win over Dunsmuir. That looming 42-12 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hayfork yet this season.

Dunsmuir lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alaya Rogers, who scored four points along with five rebounds and five steals. Rogers is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Hayfork's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4. As for Dunsmuir, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Happy Camp the next time they take the court. Dunsmuir will host Happy Camp at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Hayfork will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
