Soccer Recap: Whitehall-Yearling Triumphs

Whitehall-Yearling was handed a five-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Tri-Valley Scotties.

Whitehall-Yearling's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tri-Valley, they now have a losing record of 0-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitehall-Yearling will venture away from home to square off against Bishop Ready at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tri-Valley, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge West Muskingum at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
