After a string of 12 wins, Glynn Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Effingham Mustangs. The Terrors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

Glynn Academy's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 19-4. As for South Effingham, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

While Glynn Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
