Soccer Recap: Morgan County Comes Up Short

If Morgan County was riding high fresh off their 6-2 takedown of Social Circle two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Morgan County Bulldogs came up short against the Eastside Eagles on Tuesday, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Bulldogs were already down 4-1.

Morgan County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Eastside, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan County will venture away from home to take on Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastside, they are taking a road trip to face off against Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on March 4th.
