Gage Hedstrom Delivers Electric Performance Vs Neligh-Oakdale

Starting off the list is St. Mary's Gage Hedstrom, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hedstrom rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 146 yards and four touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

The win (which was St. Mary's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Hedstrom and St. Mary's will challenge Cambridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

While Branson Anderson delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for North Central. Creighton had no answer to Anderson as he punched in a rushing score, and also picked up 33 receiving yards.

Morgan Kinney and Co. Win Fifth in a Row

Ainsworth picked up their fifth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Morgan Kinney. Kinney was dynamite, rushing for 102 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making five total tackles.

Ainsworth's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Kinney and Ainsworth have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Kenesaw at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Condon Made His Presence Known in Creighton's 66-16 Win

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jorgan Condon stepped things up a notch to give Creighton the 'W'. Condon was unstoppable, rushing for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also catching a touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass.

Creighton pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Condon's next matchup is against Weeping Water on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Dylan Kolm Has Career-Day on Thursday

Dylan Kolm posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
