Ropes extended their postseason success on Thursday against Gruver. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Greyhounds. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won nine games in a row.

Kade Franklin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryland Keith, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one triple, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Ropes' victory bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Gruver, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-3.

As of now, neither Ropes nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
