Football Recap: Dalton Catamounts vs. Cartersville Hurricanes
Dalton played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Cartersville Hurricanes and fell 45-14. The Catamounts haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Dalton had strong showings from Nash Smith, who gained 135 total yards and a touchdown, and Caine Woods, who threw for 213 yards and one touchdown while completing 81.5% of his passes.
Cartersville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braylon Hill led the charge by rushing for 78 yards and one TD on only six carries, while also picking up 40 receiving yards and one score.
