Basketball Recap: Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Victory Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy). They walked away with a 47-40 win over the Victory Christian Vikings on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-23 back in December of 2024.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gianna Gomez, who posted ten points. Those ten points gave Gomez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaclyn Bacchi, who had 11 points.

Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Victory Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.

Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Victory Christian has also already played their next game, a 38-30 defeat against Futures on the 24th.
