Softball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus lost against Louisa-Muscatine on June 12th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Falcons, falling 9-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbus' record now sits at 10-9. As for Louisa-Muscatine, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Columbus has already played their next matchup, a 15-6 win against Pekin on the 1st. As for Louisa-Muscatine, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Hillcrest Academy on the 1st.
