Soccer Recap: Imperial Takes a Loss

Imperial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Brawley Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 807th, while the Wildcats are ranked 394th).

Imperial's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Brawley, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6-2 record this season.

Imperial wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 defeat against Calexico on the 4th. As for Brawley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Central on the 7th.
