Football Recap: Clarksburg Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Clarksburg unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 20-6 to the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Dominick Malone threw for 144 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes. Elijah Yates was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards.

Clarksburg will venture away from home to square off against Magruder at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seneca Valley, they will host Sherwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
