Volleyball Recap: Richmond Takes a Loss

Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Oak Grove Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Sydnee Burnet paced Richmond's offense, picking up six kills. Burnet got some help from Genevieve Didier and her four assists. Josie Pierson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Oak Grove, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 32-0-1.

As of now, neither Richmond nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
