Soccer Recap: Clear Fork Comes Up Short

If Clear Fork was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Mansfield Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Colts took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lexington Minutemen on Tuesday. Clear Fork have struggled against Lexington recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Clear Fork's goal came courtesy of Owen Weikle, who's now up to five this season.

Clear Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Lexington, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clear Fork will host Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lexington, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Bluffton at 7:00 p.m.
