Softball Recap: North Scott Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

North Scott won the last time they faced Davenport North and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers blew past the Wildcats 13-4. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

North Scott has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Davenport North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Scott beat the Wildcats by a score of 9-0 later that day.
