Soccer Game Preview: Heath vs. Horizon Science Academy

The Heath Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Horizon Science Academy Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Heath barely beat Bishop Rosecrans the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Bishops on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Heath, who have now won eight matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Horizon Science Academy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.6 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against Granville Christian Academy by a score of 5-3. Regan Shozi was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Horizon Science Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-2-1. As for Heath, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Heath couldn't quite get it done against Horizon Science Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago as they fell 5-3. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
