Softball Recap: Echols County Comes Up Short

Echols County fell victim to Irwin County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Indians. The Wildcats have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Echols County's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Irwin County, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Meanwhile, Irwin County is set to face off against their familiar foe Clinch County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Indians 2.6, the Panthers 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
