Basketball Recap: Oakwood Takes a Loss

Oakwood was the 52-26 winner over Gonzales when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Oakwood Hawks fell 40-28 to the Gonzales Spartans on Friday.

Oakwood's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Gonzales, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Oakwood has already played their next game, a 32-0 win against Notre Dame on the 21st. As for Gonzales, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-36 defeat against Marina on the 21st.
