Softball Recap: Colfax-Mingo Comes Up Short

Colfax-Mingo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-7 to the English Valleys Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-7 on June 4th.

Colfax-Mingo's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for English Valleys, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.

Colfax-Mingo has already played their next game (against Keota), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for English Valleys, they will challenge Collins-Maxwell at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
