Baseball Recap: David Thibodaux Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for David Thibodaux's offense. They came up short against the Vinton Lions on Friday, falling 15-0. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

David Thibodaux's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Vinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. David Thibodaux will take on Westgate at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.71 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Vinton, they will square off against Rosepine at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
