Basketball Recap: Sutton Skates Past H&H with Ease

Sutton put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 65-14 win over the H&H Bearcats. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 55-7.

Sutton was led to victory by Isabella Trejo and Kyla Griess. Trejo went 7-for-10 en route to 15 points, while Griess posted six points and six steals. Griess is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Julie Smith, who had six points and three steals.

Sutton was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as H&H only posted three.

Sutton's record is now 3-0. As for H&H, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Sutton has already played their next contest, a 46-26 victory against McCool Junction on the 12th. As for H&H, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-43 loss against Twin River on the 13th.
