Flag Football Game Preview: Dobson Mustangs vs. Westwood Warriors + Official Tickets

The Dobson Mustangs are taking a road trip to face off against the Westwood Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Dobson and 14 for Westwood dating back to last season.

Dobson's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Red Mountain on Monday. They were outmatched by the Mountain Lions and fell 32-0. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Mountain Lions are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Westwood also failed to score in their most recent game. They were beaten by Mesa 38-0 on Tuesday.

Dobson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Dobson was able to grind out a solid win over Westwood when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 13-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
