With a playoff win on the line, Brawley rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Chula Vista Spartans with a sharp 54-34 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Brawley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabella Trujillo, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most boards Trujillo has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lucca Rubin, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Brawley has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.2 points. Chula Vista has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.

Brawley will face off against Crawford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chula Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
