After losing to the Quarry Lane Cougars the last time they met, the Stockton Christian Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Stockton Christian slipped by Quarry Lane 37-36 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Stockton Christian.

Stockton Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Destiny Barber led the charge by scoring 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jami Araya, who scored 11 points.

Stockton Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Quarry Lane, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stockton Christian will take on Vanguard College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vanguard College Prep comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Quarry Lane, they will be playing at home against Emerald at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
