Soccer Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Milton had taken Escambia down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Milton couldn't quite close it out.

This is the second loss in a row for Milton and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Escambia, they now have a winning record of 1-0-2.

Coming up, Milton will head out to take on Navarre at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Escambia, they will venture away from home to face off against Rocky Bayou Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rocky Bayou Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Escambia surely won't give up without a fight.
