Basketball Recap: Hershey Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Hershey was riding high fresh off their 57-31 takedown of Kimball on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers were outmatched by the Ogallala Indians and fell 75-36. The Panthers have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Hershey lost on Friday, don't look at Kamryn Butterfield. Despite the final result, she went 10-for-16 to rack up 21 points and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, Butterfield now owns an excellent 45.8% field goal percentage. Kenna Bringewatt also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hershey fell to 4-1. As for Ogallala, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Hershey will be home for the holidays to greet Broken Bow at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ogallala, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-48 victory against Thunder Basin on the 20th.
