Baseball Game Preview: Union Red Hawks vs. West Michigan Aviation Academy

The Union Red Hawks will venture away from home to challenge West Michigan Aviation Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Union is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering East Kentwood just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 7-6.

Meanwhile, West Michigan Aviation Academy got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They had just enough and edged out Potter's House Christian 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for West Michigan Aviation Academy as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

West Michigan Aviation Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

Union came up short against West Michigan Aviation Academy when the teams last played back in May of 2024, falling 4-1. Can the Red Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
