Softball Preview: Miller County Pirates vs. Marion County Eagles
The Miller County Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the Marion County Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Miller County fell victim to Cook and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Hornets. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Marion County was able to grind out a solid victory over Shaw on Wednesday, taking the game 12-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
Haleigh Frazier was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Kinsley Barrow was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.
Marion County hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shaw struck out eight times.
