Baseball Recap: Durfee Comes Up Short

Durfee lost to Dartmouth back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hilltoppers fell just short of the High School by a score of 3-2.

Durfee's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Dartmouth, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

Looking ahead, Durfee will challenge Bridgewater-Raynham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hilltoppers 2.4, the Trojans 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Dartmouth, they will face off against Somerset Berkley Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the High School's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
