Soccer Recap: East Jackson Comes Up Short

On Friday, the East Jackson Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Creekview Grizzlies and fell 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one goal.

East Jackson has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. With the win, Creekview broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6.

East Jackson and Creekview could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. East Jackson (ranked 300th) will meet Westminster Schools of Augusta (ranked eighth) at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Creekview will face off against Jackson County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday down 258 places (334 vs. 76).
