Preview: Rubidoux Falcons vs. Alemany Warriors
The Rubidoux Falcons and the Alemany Warriors will round out the year against one another at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Rubidoux comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Wednesday, Rubidoux took a serious blow against Colton, falling 46-12.
Meanwhile, Alemany unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 44-36 to Columbine. While losing is never fun, Alemany can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 170th in California, while Columbine is ranked 39th in Colorado).
Rubidoux bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.0 points per game. As for Alemany, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
