Baseball Recap: Trion Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trion had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the Taylor County Vikings get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since February 18th.

Trion has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Taylor County, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.

Trion will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair will be back at it again later today.
