Baseball Recap: Brooks County Takes a Loss

Brooks County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Lanier County Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 on Tuesday.

Brooks County's loss dropped their record down to 4-25. As for Lanier County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

While Brooks County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
