The Blair County Christian Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 35-26 to Calvary Christian Academy. Blair County Christian has not had much luck with Calvary Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Blair County Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gabi Dull. Despite the final result, she scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Dull scored a full 65.4% of Blair County Christian's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Lydia Hileman, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Blair County Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blair County Christian will take on Clearfield Alliance Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Johnstown Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 18, 2024.
