Softball Recap: South Hardin Comes Up Short

South Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the South Hamilton Hawks, falling 13-1. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in June of 2018.

South Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for South Hamilton, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-14.

South Hardin and South Hamilton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 269th) will meet Grundy Center (ranked 131st) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, South Hamilton will take on Grand View Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (284 vs. 82).
