Cameron Newton Delivers Best Effort of Season
Cameron Newton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Walnut Grove to the win on Friday. Newton rushed for 360 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win (which was Walnut Grove's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Newton and Walnut Grove will face off against Lubbock-Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ben Adams continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fifth-straight game with at least 114 rushing yards. He rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 31 receiving yards.
The victory was the third in a row for Lovejoy, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. Adams and Lovejoy will square off against Del Valle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
