Softball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

If Salem was feeling good fresh off their 25-12 takedown of Redan last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Seminoles came up short against the Osborne Cardinals on Wednesday, falling 14-5.

Anya Hoard was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Osborne, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-16 record.

As of now, neither Salem nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
