Softball Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Loss

Lincoln County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 12-8 to the Briarwood Academy Buccaneers.

Hannah Moon made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeda Henderson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will head out to face off against Thomson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Briarwood Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Glascock County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
