Recap: El Dorado Cougars vs. Rosemont Wolverine
The El Dorado Cougars entered their tilt with the Rosemont Wolverine with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. El Dorado walked away with a 58-46 win over Rosemont on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for El Dorado, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Kali Cusic was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 13 points along with seven assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alana Schneider, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
El Dorado has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Rosemont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado will take on Galt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Galt has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Rosemont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union Mine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Union Mine focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
