Softball Recap: Briarwood Academy Takes a Loss

Briarwood Academy and Southwest Georgia Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Briarwood Academy had to settle for second. They fell 5-1 to the Warriors. The defeat continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Briarwood Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Briarwood Academy nor Southwest Georgia Academy have any future games scheduled.
