With a playoff win on the line, Oak Hills rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lynwood Knights a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Lynwood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aliyah Casillas (2), Mollie Zielke, and Ariana Yslas.

The win (which was Oak Hills' fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five contests. As for Lynwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-2.

Oak Hills didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Warren on the 14th. Lynwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
