Basketball Recap: Era Piles Up the Points Against Tioga

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lindsay, Era was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 50-21 win over the Tioga Bulldogs. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Era got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Trinity Phillips out in front who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Mariana Romero, who earned ten points.

Era was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive contests.

Era's victory bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Tioga, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Era has already played their next matchup (against Alvord), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tioga will take on Muenster at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
