Tyrese Robinson was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Willie Batts, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
Dublin hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in eight consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Treutlen, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let Montgomery County get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.
The result came thanks to Gavin Wood's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 14 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caden Parrish, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kylan Page, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
Dublin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. Treutlen's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.
