Chadron had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 13-12 W against the North Bend Central Tigers.

Chadron let Addisyn Gruver and Brylee Huffman run wild. Gruver went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Huffman went 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBI. That's the most hits Huffman has posted since back in August. Rylan Barry was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Chadron kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 8-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Chadron's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for North Bend Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-16.

Chadron has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 loss against Yutan-Mead on the 6th. North Bend Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
