Soccer Game Preview: Terra Linda vs. Lincoln

The Terra Linda Trojans will head out to challenge the Lincoln Mustangs at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Terra Linda's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Terra Linda's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They skirted past Marin Catholic 1-0. The win was all the more spectacular given the Trojans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 188th).

Terra Linda's one-goal win came courtesy of Josie Quinby, who's now up to 11 this season.

Meanwhile, Lincoln got the win against Balboa back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Lincoln now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Terra Linda, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-3.

Terra Linda took their win against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Terra Linda since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
