While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Davis Sr. Blue Devils who were credited with the victory on Monday. The Davis Sr. Blue Devils got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Del Oro Golden Eagles' three. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, Del Oro's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Del Oro fell to 11-1-4. As for Davis Sr., the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3-5.

Del Oro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Davis Sr., they will take on Inderkum at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Inderkum's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Davis Sr.'s offense will have their work cut out for them.
