Volleyball Game Preview: Denmark vs. Wheeler Wildcats

After both having extra time off, Denmark and the Wheeler Wildcats will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Denmark comes in on five and Wheeler on three.

Denmark is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Creekview, who was ranked third at the time (Denmark was ranked second). Denmark walked away with a 2-0 win over Creekview last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Wheeler was able to grind out a solid victory over North Cobb on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

While Wheeler won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22.

Denmark pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wheeler, their record now sits at 9-1.
