Football Recap: Denim Ballard's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Parkside over Kent Island + How To Watch

Parkside made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Kent Island, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rams fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 36-33 on Friday. The Rams gained 205 more yards on the day, but it was the Buccaneers that made the best use of them.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Denim Ballard, who rushed for 217 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Tavian Dashiell was in the mix as well, providing Parkside with two TDs.

Parkside didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kendrell Moore and Dashiell.

Jaxson Hess had a dynamite game For Kent Island., rushing for 147 yards and three scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Hess has posted since back in October of 2024.

Parkside is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Kent Island, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Parkside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 29-20 victory against North Caroline on the 17th. As for Kent Island, they have also already played their next matchup, a 24-23 win against Wicomico on the 16th.
