Soccer Recap: Central Gwinnett Comes Up Short

Central Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They came up short against the South Gwinnett Comets, falling 3-0. Central Gwinnett were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South Gwinnett apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Central Gwinnett's record is now 1-16. As for South Gwinnett, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Gwinnett will square off against Milton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Gwinnett, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Lanier at 7:30 p.m.
